The Mountain Hut
To be honest, there was a time, where german people assumed that the mountainous area of the Harz was old-fashioned,
but today a lot of people from different cities go back and buy cute houses and turn them in a hotel or home for nowadays needs.
Here is a good example, as these two young people took up this issue and changed a miners hut.
Malte and Loana moved out of the city into the wide open spaces of the „Harz“ and all they wanted,
was to bring a fresh wind up to the mountains.
This miners' hut- already over 100 years old – was smoothly transferred into their idea of a modern holiday home in rustic nature.
Important to both of them was the topic sustainability and the use of natural materials.
So today nature lovers can enjoy the nearby hiking, mountain biking, walks into snowy surroundings.
Even Skiing and sitting with friends around the fireplace without renouncing modern comfort.
Thus created the beginning of revitalization and rejuvenation the mountainous region in the Harz Mountains.
The new beginning is made.
