Christmas Wonderland
In 2018, a young family had inherited an old house from one of their grand-mothers.
This traditional home, made out of bricks, has been for more than a hundred years in the family and might as well stay for another one or two more generations.
The house is located in Northern Germany, in a region called „Holstein Switzerland“, because of the hilly landscape,
surrounded by lots of idyllic lakes.
Once they have snow the whole region turns into a winterwonderland, which is perfect for sledding or go for long walks.
All the members of this young family now appreciating more than ever grandmothers former home by celebrating their Christmas
like they always have been.
Birte has furnished their home with a mix of vintage and nordic scandi style.
The bright look was achieved with lots of white paint and open views through the large windows into the snowy landscape.
