The Family Project
Syster lives and works in Hamburg, but she kept being attractedby the Sea as this is how she grew up.
So she started looking for a second location near her hometown on the coast of the Baltic Sea only to spend
weekends off with her family and dog Gustav.
Finally shegot lucky and found the right thatched cottage at the Eckernförder Bucht.
But the cottage from 1850 was a former stable of a manor estate and in poor condition.
Syster's father is an architect and lives conviently nearby, so the renovation of the cottage became a Family project.
Today the 85 square meter house not only is in a renewed splendour, it also has a new bay window, which is important for stability.
After a year of restructuring, Syster can now finally spend her free time here.
