Christine, formerly owner of an advertising agency in Hamburg, gave up her city-life for her new career in the countryside.
Now she refurbishes and rents out old cottages for holidays in Northern Germany.
The home:
Thatched cottage from around 1760, near the Schlei-Fjord in Northern Germany.
Discovered in 2011 by Christine during a walk, bought spontaneous and rebuild in 2012.
69 sqm living space and a 700 sqm garden with a view over the fields. Rent out for holidays to people who are looking for rest and nature.
The Style:
Shabby nordic style with a very personal touch. Light drenched rooms colored in white and grey.
Furniture and antiques from Northern German and Danish flew-markets, refurbished by Christine.
The new windows were custommade in old danish style. A Fireplace, the old stove in the kitchen and on top the floor heating system warm up this lovely house.
