The Season
Lisa and Björn wanted to give up their city life in Hamburg to swap it for the country.
They were looking for a property with charm and history that they could renovate with their own effort.
Near Lübeck in Northern Germany, they finally found an old forge from 1879 with many crooked walls and converted it into a family home according to their ideas.
Their furnishing style is minimalistic and scandi, but very cosy thanks to the many natural materials.
Sustainability is a very important point for them.
Lisa’s favourite spot is the newly created large window.
Their son Leo was just born and this season, together with the first snowfall, they have celebrated their first Christmas in the old forge
and their first Christmas as a young family.
