Marie´s Weekend Cottage
Marie lives a busy life in Hamburg and was looking for a place to recover and relax near the coast.
After a long search she found a small thatched cottage in a solitary position, near the Schlei Fjord.
This 80qm cottage was hidden in a private forest and a former forester had lived here for many years .
In 2019, the building was completely refurbished by a friend, who lives nearby.
Now, Marie spends her weekends here and meets often with friends, as the cottage has another guest room in addition to the bedroom upstairs.
In late summer or autumn the Swedish wood-burning stove gives comfort for cosy warmth.
