Schwansen Cottage
Nina, an architect from Hamburg, and her husband, the Photojournalist Kersten have
discovered a derelict cottage in the beautiful soft hilly landscape between the river Schlei and the Baltic Sea.
They wanted to buy an old house, where the charakter and the charm during reconstuction remains.
It was clear to the couple, that the cottage has to meet ourdays modern expectations.
The house with a thatched roof was built in 1820 and Nina and Kersten divided it first into 3 apartments
and began 2014 to extensively renovate it.
Today two holiday flats have been created for guests and the third, their own apartment has been refurbished and decorated in the same kind of style.
Both enjoy design classics as you can see.
