Gød Jul at Julia´s
In this small cosy town on the river Rhine, everyone knows the little house that glows in a warmgolden light during the Christmas season, visible from far away.
Yet, its true magic reveals itself only to those who step inside and enter its enchanting interior. What awaits the visitor is a Christmas world rarely encountered.
This is Philipp’s home, not a museum. He comes from a family of devoted Christmas enthusiasts and bought the house a few years ago, carefully redesigning it
according to his vision while preserving its authenticity.
For many years, Philipp has been collecting vintage Christmas decorations not only from home, also from Scandinavia and other places, guided by a trained eye
for rare and precious treasures.
Every damaged piece in his collection is lovingly restored. Broken Christmas baubles are turned into glitter and other Objects are recreated in his small workshop
on the upper floor.
Philipp is renowned for his feather trees, artificial Christmas trees that were particularly popular during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Within these walls, he brings his personal vision of the magic of Christmas to life.
