At Home under the open Sky
Karina lives with her husband and their two children on the outskirts of the city of Hamburg,
directly between woods and meadows in half of a semi-detached house built in 1930.
In this house, she now lives out her love of interiordesign on three floors.
The previous owners had already started to renovate the house before the young couple bought it in 2017.
They continued the work and redesigned everything according to their ideas.
It has to be light and airy and they wanted to incorporate the garden into their living concept.
This is how Karina discovered her passion for designing natural gardens.
She transformed the outdoor area, which consisted only of a boring lawn,
into a dreamlike garden that is now home not only to countless insects, but also to a few chickens.
She currently works as a consultant for nature-based garden design for the Hamburg project "Moin Stadtnatur" which translates to „Hello Urban Nature! “
