The garden of gardenbook author Anke in the Duchy of Lauenburg, northern Germany. Anke has written different books about roses and everything around garden-culture. Her latest book is about sage people and their beautiful gardens. She´s also one of the founders of a german society, which is promoting garden culture.
The Garden:
2,5 acres country garden, surrounding a 17th century half timbered, thatched cottage, with a rose garden, a vegetable garden, apple trees and two wildlife ponds.
Anke and her husband have transformed a wet meadow into a tranquil sanctuary, during the past 30 years.
